A firm favourite for match anglers in the UK and Europe on commercials and natural venues this versatile groundbait can be used in a number of different ways.
It is made by crushing green Koi pellets to a fine even consistency. Because of its fine particle size it can be mixed to be quite sticky, perfect for the Method feeder but will still break down easily, or it can be mixed a little drier which creates the perfect feed for skimmers or F1's or in shallow water because it creates a fine spread of groundbait which fish will settle over and feed but without filling up. It is good for all species of coarse fish but has gained a particularly big following for bream anglers.
Dai Gribble (Specialist Angler) says "Supercrush Green is the best groundbait for Bream, it forms the base of my mix because of its strong fishy smell and it is the right colour to attract big bream. I mix it with chopped worm and fish it through a feeder, often spodding the same mix over the top to create a big spread of bait for the Bream to feed over)
Mixing Guidelines
Supercrush Green is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.
