PAP Alborella Float Rigs often referred to as bleak or speed fishing rigs are specialized, ultra-sensitive, ready-to-use setups manufactured by the Italian match fishing brand PAP Italia. These rigs are built for high-speed "whip" or pole fishing targeting small silverfish, specifically Alborella(bleak)
Key Characteristics of Alborella Rigs
- Ultra-Light Capacities: Alborella floats are exceptionally small, typically scaling from 0.10g up to 1.50g. This allows for a near-weightless presentation so small fish feel zero resistance.
- Fast-Settling Stems: They typically feature short, stable wire or carbon steel stems that help the float "cock" or set instantly in the water. This is vital because bleak often hit the bait the moment it touches the surface.
- Streamlined Body Shapes: They feature highly sensitive balsa or polyurethane teardrop or slim bodies designed to register the most fractional, lightning-fast bites.
- Ready-Tied Efficiency: Like other PAP Competition Rigs, they come pre-spooled on winders with perfectly matched fine-diameter lines, bulk/dropper shot configurations, and razor-sharp, micro-sized competition hooks
