Mikado Landing Net B-8902 (180cm) is a lightweight, all-round foldable landing net designed for everyday angling. It comes as a complete package containing both the net head and the handle, making it an affordable, out-of-the-box option for general fishing needs.
Specifications & Features
- Total Length: 180 cm when fully extended.
- Handle Design: Features 2 sections for easy transport and extension.
- Net Head Size: Measures 50 x 50 cm with a classic triangular rim layout.
- Construction: Built with a lightweight aluminum handle frame paired with a strong plastic spreader block.
- Mesh Type: Equipped with a rubberised soft mesh which is highly beneficial because it does not absorb water, resists strong odours, prevents hooks from tangling easily, and remains safe for fish.
Quick Fishing Tips
- Odor management: Rinse the mesh with clean water directly after use; even though rubber-coated meshes repel odours, a quick rinse prevents lake residue from settling.
- Structural care: To lift heavy fish, avoid hoisting the net handle horizontally like a lever. Instead, pull the handle straight back towards you or lift vertically by the net frame.
